HOW ZONGO GOT ITS NAME!
IN MAY 2021, I FULFILLED A LONG TIME DREAM OF MINE: VOLUNTEER WITH AN AFRICAN CONSERVATION ORGANIZATION TO HELP ORPHANED ELEPHANTS. AFTER SEVERAL YEARS, A COVID-19 DELAY AND A FEW TRAVEL VACCINES, I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO SPEND THREE WEEKS IN ZAMBIA WITH AN AMAZING COMPANY CALLED GAME RANGERS INTERNATIONAL. (NO, SERIOUSLY, THEY'RE AMAZING. YOU SHOULD CHECK THEM OUT!) DURING THOSE THREE WEEKS, I MET SO MANY WONDERFUL, DEDICATED PEOPLE, WORKED WITH OVER 15 ORPHANED ELEPHANTS, CONDUCTED FIELD RESEARCH, TOOK BREATHTAKING PHOTOGRAPHS, AND HAD THE ADVENTURE OF A LIFE TIME.

LONG STORY SHORT, I MET AND WORKED WITH (FROM A 10 METER DISTANCE) A YEAR-OLD ORPHANED ELEPHANT NAMED ZONGO! LOOK! ISN'T HE ADORABLE?? HE, THE OTHER ELEPHANTS, AND THE DEDICATED PEOPLE I WORKED ALONGSIDE OF IN ZAMBIA INSPIRED ME TO HELP OTHER PEOPLE ACHIEVE THEIR DREAMS, BECAUSE ACHIEVING YOUR DREAMS IS THE BEST FEELING IN THE WORLD!

HI, MY NAME IS HANNAH! IT'S NICE TO MEET YOU! THAT'S ME WITH TWO ELEPHANT KEEPERS, AUDIENCE AND BRENDA, WHO WORK FOR GAME RANGERS INTERNATIONAL.

SO, A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME!

I GREW UP IN A TINY TOWN IN SOUTHERN MICHIGAN, GRADUATED TOP OF MY CLASS IN HIGH SCHOOL, ATTENDING BOWLING GREEN STATE UNIVERSITY (BGSU), STUDIED FOR A SEMESTER AT EM STRASBOURG BUSINESS SCHOOL IN STRASBOURG, FRANCE AND THEN GRADUATED TOP OF MY CLASS AT BGSU WITH A BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION WITH A FOCUS ON MARKETING AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP.

I STARTED COLLEGE WANTING TO BE A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER, WHICH I REALIZED THAT I WOULD HATE AFTER SEVERAL PHOTOGRAPHY INTERNSHIPS. EVENTUALLY I SHIFTED MY FOCUS AND DECIDED I WANTED TO BE A CONSERVATION MARKETER. SO, I INTERNED WITH MAD AVE GROUP IN TOLEDO, OHIO AND MANAGED THE BLACK SWAMP CONSERVANCY (BSC) INSTAGRAM (AND CO-MANAGED THE BSC FACEBOOK) FOR ABOUT A YEAR. DURING THAT TIME, I ALSO MANAGED THE MARKETING FOR MY PARENTS' BUSINESS, CHEER-UP FARMS.

AFTER GRADUATION, I APPLIED TO HUNDREDS OF JOBS. I KEPT SAYING THAT I NEEDED JUST ONE PERSON TO TAKE A CHANCE ON ME. FINALLY, I REALIZED THAT THAT ONE PERSON WAS ME. I HAD THE KNOWLEDGE, THE SKILL, AND THE SUPPORT SYSTEM TO LIVE MY DREAMS.

SO, HERE I AM, THE PROUD OWNER OF ZONGO, LLC! WHILE I STILL LOVE AND HAVE A PASSION FOR PHOTOGRAPHY AND CONSERVATION, I AM SO EXCITED TO DIP MY TOES IN LOTS OF DIFFERENT INDUSTRIES. SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING ALLOWS ME TO EXPLORE CONSERVATION, PHOTOGRAPHY, FARMING, RESTAURANTS, AND SO MUCH MORE! IF YOU'RE A SMALL BUSINESS, I'M LOOKING TO HELP!

TARGET AUDIENCE
Rachel, a copywriter, knew WHAT she wanted to do, but she had no idea WHO she wanted to do it for.

I walked her through a series of exercises, questions, and techniques to define exactly who she wanted to work with!
CONTENT STRATEGY
Farnaz, a real-estate CEO, posted consistently, but was not seeing an traffic on her site.
​
I provided her and her team with several content strategies that would simplify content creation, drive traffic to their site, and increase revenue.
MESSAGING
RJ, a Life Coach, had so many women reaching out to her saying things like: "you are literally creating content for ME! It's soooo valuable!''

... but no one was buying.
​
I taught RJ two simple, repeatable messaging strategies so she could strategically create desire for her offers.
BRANDING
Kaitlin, a fitness & yoga instructor, was consistently posting, but she had almost no brand cognition across her channels.

I gave Kaitlin several content structures that would allow her to showcase her branding without making it feel boring, or repetitive.
OFFERS
Roe, a social media manager, wanted to expand her offer suite to include a passive-income Canva course.

Roe and I strategized not only the potential new course, but also how to shift her content strategy to create need for the new course.

CALL 1: MESSAGING TECHNIQUES
Part of RJ's challenge was that she did not have a repeatable structure for content, so writing her content was a chore.
RJ and I began our first consulting session with learning several proven messaging techniques, which would allow her to start creating powerful messaging for her offers.
CALL 2: STORYTELLING IN CONTENT
Next, I taught RJ how to tell engaging stories in her content, which is proven to increase sales because it builds relatability, trust, and desire for the offer.
CALL 3: MESSAGING FOR HER OFFER
Together we wrote content scripts based on the messaging techniques for her specific offer.

We also spoke in-depth about her ideal client, and refined several aspects that were not aligned with who she truly wanted to attract.
CALL 4: MESSAGING FOR RETREAT
RJ was hosting a retreat in several weeks, so I helped her write messaging specific to this retreat and it’s target market.
CALL 5: WRITING CONTENT & HOOKS
On our final call, I helped RJ write compelling hooks and outlines for over 4 months worth of content that was tailored to her specific audience and offers.
